Annealing-Tuned WO₃ Thin Films for Smart Windows #war #phenomenon #research #researcher #awards

This study investigates how annealing temperature influences the microstructure and electrochromic behavior of WO₃ thin films. The findings demonstrate that controlled annealing improves optical modulation, charge-storage characteristics, switching kinetics, and cycling stability. Samples treated at optimized temperatures achieved strong electrochromic performance and sustained retention after repeated cycling. The research highlights the importance of balancing ion-storage capacity and transport properties, supporting the development of durable, energy-efficient WO₃-based smart windows for advanced optical and energy-control applications.
